Title 34 of the Code of Federal
Regulations part 462 establishes procedures the Secretary uses to
consider literacy tests for use in the National Reporting System
(NRS) for adult education. This information is used by the
Secretary to determine the suitability of published literacy tests
to measure and report educational gain under the NRS.
There is a 1400 adjustment
decrease in burden; burden has been reduced from 2,000 to 600 as
the total number of respondents has been reduced from 50 to
15.
