Data on the costs of implementation of
the CPPW initiative are of great value to both governments and
communities planning similar interventions in the future and will
be essential for any subsequent cost-effectiveness analyses of
community-based programs. Variations in implementation costs would
also demonstrate the extent of cost heterogeneity among programs
and communities in general, as well as the potential cost
implications of targeting different priority populations. All of
the implementation cost information will be reported by awardees,
using a uniform, Web-based, data collection instrument where costs
are allocated to each CPPW objective and corresponding MAPPS
strategies that an awardee implements.
