We recently contacted you requesting your participation in the Federal Voting Assistance
Program’s “2010 Post-Election Voting Survey of Overseas Civilians” about absentee
voting. If you have completed the survey, thank you. Your participation is greatly
appreciated. If you have not responded to the survey, please take a few minutes now to
do so. The survey is located at this secure Web site:
https://www.drcsurveys.com/DMDC/overseas.
The survey is administered by our contractor, Data Recognition Corporation, an
experienced survey operations company. Click the address above and you will be
directed to a secure Web site to complete the survey. If that does not work, "copy and
paste" this address into the Web address box of your Internet browser. Be sure to enter
the address into the Web address box, not into a search engine, such as Google. You may
be prompted with a security alert. If so, follow the instructions and proceed to the secure
survey Web site.
The survey is authorized by the Uniformed and Overseas Civilians Absentee Voting Act
of 1986 and helps determine voter participation as well as any problems you or others
like you may have experienced with absentee voting. While participation is voluntary,
your comments and recommendations are critical to the effort of improving the Federal
Voting Assistance Program and the absentee voting process. The data will not be shared
with the Internal Revenue Service.

Your participation is critical to the success of the “2010 Post-Election Voting Survey of
Overseas Civilians.” If you haven’t already, we strongly encourage you to take a few
minutes now to complete the survey. You are eligible to take the survey even if you
voted in person, did not vote in the 2010 elections, or did not require assistance in voting
absentee. If you have already completed and returned the survey, thank you!
