SSA requests information on Form
SSA-7163A whenever a beneficiary or claimant reports work on a farm
outside the United States (U.S.). We designed the form to obtain
sufficient information to determine whether foreign work deductions
are applicable to the recipient's benefits. We collect the
information either annually or every other year, dependent on the
country of residence. Respondents are Social Security recipients
engaged in farming activities outside the U.S.
