Federal Law (5 U.S.C. 8521 et seq.)
provides unemployment insurance protection, to former members of
the Armed Forces (ex-servicemembers) and is referred to in
abbreviated form as "UCX". The forms in the Handbook are used in
connection with the provisions of this benefit assistance.

The burden is adjusted slightly
upward because of a mathematical difference in hours/minutes
conversion in calculating the same raw numbers, using 53 State
Workforce Agencies as the divisor. The cost burden previously
reported for respondents was inadvertently included and has been
removed from this submission.
