Definitions:
Bearing Acreage: Acres from which you will harvest peaches this year. Include blocks you rent from
others, and exclude blocks rented out. Deduct any waste area within blocks.
Expected Production: The total pounds you anticipate harvesting. Consider the current condition of
your orchards, and assume average weather and pest infestations until harvest.
Expected Percent of Full Crop: A full crop is the yield you would expect to achieve under normal
production conditions. This yield may or may not be the maximum production potential for your
operation. Therefore, your Expected Percent of Full Crop may exceed 100%. Example: You project
a mature block should produce 15,000 Ibs/acre and you estimate this year it will produce 18,000
Ibs/acre or 120% of a full crop.
IMPORTANT: Please provide separate answers for fresh market and processing peaches.
