For some reason, the ROCIS
system does not reflect the current OMB inventory of 78,002 ICR
Annual Responses and 47,521 ICR Annual Hours for this collection of
information. Taking this into account, the burden for this
information collection submission has increased by 8,254 hours. One
program change under new section 225.6 increased the burden by 424
hours. The rest of the burden increase of 7,830 hours results from
adjustments, which are spelled out in the answer to question number
15 of the Supporting Justification. The burden cost to respondents
has decreased by $20,000. The decrease is due to a program change,
which eliminated the requirement and expense for notarization of
Form FRA F 6180.55 (a reduction of $16,000 in costs)and to one
adjusted estimate, which decreased the cost by $4,000. Please Note:
The current OMB inventory has the costs to respondents listed as
$178,286. The correct number is $175,500, which a check of the last
two FRA information collection submissions will confirm. ***Please
note also that the Proposed (Revised) FRA Guide for Preparing
Accident/Incident Reports contains the most current
version/revisions of all the Accident/Incident Forms in Appendix
H.
