SUBJECT: Request for Expedited Clearance for “Program Evaluation of the I Can Do It, You Can Do It Health Promotion Program for Children and Youth with Disabilities”

The Office on Disability is requesting expedited clearance (30-45 days) for its OMB clearance package entitled “Program Evaluation of the I Can Do It, You Can Do It Health Promotion Program for Children and Youth with Disabilities.” The Office on Disability needs to begin implementation by July 1, 2008 in order to maintain the program’s visibility and participation interest by youth with disabilities and supporting community organizations. The OD has been unable to begin this important program since its September 2007 contract award. Further delays will impede the success of the program. The OD must maintain the program’s visibility to ensure the evaluation can effectively proceed.
