Terms of Clearance: Approved consistent with prior terms of clearance. Specifically, this streamlined process applies only to those info collection requests previously approved by OMB that change the selection criteria a) from the same EDGAR menu, b) old EDGAR to new EDGAR criteria, or c) program criteria to EDGAR criteria. No other changes to the information collection request, other than the ones listed above, can be approved through this streamlined process; 2) OMB will provide a response to ED on each submission under this approval within 10 days of OMB receiving the individual approval requests; 3) Each information collection submitted under this clearance will retain its original OMB#, however a cover memo, in lieu of an OMB 83-I, will accompany each submission explaining the purpose of the submission (e.g. old EDGAR to new EDGAR) and will reference the approved information clearance request; 4) Each information collection submitted under this clearance will retain its original expiration date.

Abstract: Although this is rarely used, this process allows grant programs, in a subsequent year of the approved collection, to change their program specific criteria to EDGAR criteria. This process generally relates to programs who have used the 1890-0001 process in a previous year but wish to move one or more criterion to EDGAR in a subsequent year of their approved application. If the program still has program specific requirements, they cannot use the 1890-0009 process and therefore, must use this process ONLY if some or all program specific criteria wil be changing to EDGAR criteria, there are no other substantive changes to the approved application, and the application still contains a program specific requirement. No public comment period notices are required since the Master Plan covers this process, and the individual applications account for their burden under their individual OMB control numbers.
