DCI (9056) Change Justification
As part of the UI Performs five-year review, the Employment and Training Administration convened a federal/state team to study and recommend changes to the BTQ Nonmonetary Determinations Quality Review. The work included a review of the 9056 - data collection instrument (DCI) and instructions used in the quality review of nonmonetary determinations. The workgroup made recommendations to streamline the DCI which involves deleting some elements that are obsolete and others that are confusing and create reporting errors, and adding some elements for clarity. All other revisions are cosmetic in nature. The overall changes to the DCI reduce the number of elements from 27 to 24, and pose no additional reporting burden. A summary of the changes, the current DCI, and proposed DCI are attached.
