SUBJECT: Methodological Field Test (OMB No. 0930-0261): 2007 NSDUH Cognitive Laboratory Testing of Marijuana Consumption Questions

The attached materials are provided in support of our request for approval of methodological field testing under SAMHSA’s generic approval for “National Survey on Drug Use and Health Methodological Field Test”.

This is the 6th submission under that approval and will impose an estimated annual average total burden of 38 hours, which would bring the total currently approved burden under this clearance to 869 hours. The current total burden hours in the OMB inventory for the Methodological Field Test (OMB No. 0930-0261) is 4,886. Approval is requested by August 17, 2007.

will provide an annual report to OMB on this gerneic

clearance detailing all collections of information under

this generic, and the total number of approved burden hours

used for each. In each submission under this clearance

SAMHSA must provide the burden requested, the total burden

used by the Agency under the generic as a whole, and the

approved burden for the generic clearance.
