Program Change Due to Agency Discretion for the SSA-624 (0960-0069)
SSA is reporting a decrease in the public reporting burden is due to the replacement of the SSA‑624 with the SSA-639 for the 2,000 random interviews which are conducted annually with the representative payees. Since ROCIS does not properly report the burden for this program change, the below two charts were formulated to show how SSA calculated the correct burden information. It takes the field office representatives 30 minutes to interview the representative payees and fill out the SSA-624.
