The focus group
design is appropriate for the purpose identified in the supporting
statement and in NIDRR's passback responses. However, in describing
the data collected and the results of the analysis, ED/ NIDRR will
clearly acknowledge that the data does not provide nationally
representative estimates of consumer attitudes, knowledge,
behaviors, etc. NIDRR will ask the same questions from the same
group identified in the recruitment strategy in all three years of
approval. ED/ NIDRR shall submit all substantive changes to the
questions or administration of the focus groups for OMB approval
using a change request form (83-C).
