The National Appeals Division (NAD)
proposes to conduct a customer survey as required in Executive
Order No. 12862 to make improvements in NAD processes and establish
customer service standards.

The survey was revised to
include the measuring of how many people are aware of NADs
services. The survey was enlarged to measure this awareness while
also documenting appellant satisfaction. As time passes, NAD will
now be able to measure both impact of its public awareness campaign
and compare appellant satisfaction level
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
