Form N-2 is the registration statement
used by closed-end management investment companies, except small
business investment companies and insurance company separate
accounts, to register under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and
to register their securities under the Securities Act of 1933. The
SEC uses the information filed in registration statements to verify
compliance with the federal securities laws. Proposed amendments to
Form N-2 would require buisness development companies to provide
improved disclosure of executive compensation
In part due to public comment,
we have revised our initial estimates included in Proposed Rule:
Executive Compensation and Related Party Disclosure (Release
33-8655) to increase the number of additional incremental burden
hours for each affected form, as described in more detail in the
Adopted Rule (Release 33-8732A).
