Long-Term Goals

Increase the number of treatment programs using effective treatment practices.

Increase the percentage of people with substance abuse problems who receive treatment.

Improve treatment outcomes for people receiving services.

Outcome Measures

Increase the percentage of people with substance abuse problems who receive treatment.

Increase the percentage of individuals receiving services who report:

Increased employment or return to school.

Increased social supports.

Increased stabilized family and living conditions.

Increased access to services.

Increased retention in treatment.

Increased abstinence from drug use/alcohol abuse.

Decreased criminal justice involvement.

Process Measures

Increase the number of evidence-based practices for substance abuse clinical treatment and recovery support services included in the NREPP.

Increase the number of grantees implementing evidence-based practices.
