The Task Order on Temporary Assistance
for Needy Families Separate State Programs, Time Limits and
Participation Requirements examines how states have implemented
TANF time limits and what effects they have hade on families
receiving TANF, now that states have had experience with the
60-month limit under varying economic conditions. The site visits
include interviews with state TANF administrators, local TANF
office managers, and TANF caseworkers. The interview will be used
to understand what decisions administrators made in designing
time.....
