OMB approves
this grant application package. Following the conclusion of the
FY06 grant competition, ED will submit a brief memo to OMB
outlining the results of the revisions to the grant application
process, including any problems encountered in the move from a
two-stage application process to a one-stage process, whether ED
was able to provide sufficient support to potential grantees, and
how many grantees submitted applications electronically. If
necessary, at that point, ED will also submit a change worksheet
(OMB Form 83-C) to adjust the number of respondents for this
collection and the resulting burden.
