The NPCR Annual Program Evaluation
Instrument (NPCR-APEI) is needed in order to receive, process,
evaluate, aggregate and disseminate NPCR program information. Data
collected using this instrument will be used by the NPCR to
evaluate various attributes of the registries funded by NPCR, and
respond to data inquiries made by CDC, and other agencies of the
federal government. The respondents are program and data managers
of the 49 NPCR-funded central cancer registries.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).

the proposed collection of information, that the certification
covers:
