CDC is requesting a three-year
clearance in order to continue the data collection and reporting
requirements as required under the Final Rule 42 CFR Part 73. Under
the new regulations entities are required to follow measures
designed to ensure the health and safety of their workers and the
public. Entities must register with CDC; identify individuals who
require access to these agents and toxins; train these individuals,
establish safety, security, and emergency response plans; and
maintain records of all such activities.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
