Randomly selected adults in the U.S.
will be interviewed by telephone about knowledge of dietary fats
and their relationships to the risk of coronary heart disease as
well as attitudes toward diet, health and physical activity. The
information will help the agency ensure proper performance of its
functions by (1) establishing baseline data for the development of
performance indicators to identify and measure incremental
improvements in consumer knowledge of the fat-heart disease
relationships, and (2)enriching understanding of consumer attitudes
to explore effective communication strategies and messages to
assist........
