The Channels of Trade Provision (FFDCA
#408(1)(5)), essentially states that residues of a pesticide
chemical that are found in food after the tolerance is revoked
pursuant to the tolerance reassessment provision of the Food
Quality Protection Act, will not render such food adulterated
provided certain requirements are met. FDA anticipates that the
party responsible for such food will be able to demonstrate
compliance with the Channels of Trade Provision by providing
appropriate documentation to the agency. The likely respondents to
this collection of information are firms in the produce and food
processing.......
