Under FERC-545 natural gas pipelines
will be required to amend their tariffs if the proposed
requirements in RM96-1-026 "Standards for Business Practices of
Interstate Natural Gas Pipelines" are adopted. FERC is proposing to
adopt the most recent version, Version 1.7 of the consensus
standards created by the Wholesale Gas Quadrant (WGQ) of the North
American Energy Standards Board (NAESB). In addition, FERC is
proposing to adopt standards ratified by NAESB on 6/25/04
implementing FERC's requirements in Order No. 2004 plus proposing
to adopt the gas quality reporting requirements ratified by NAESB
on 10/20/04.....
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
