SSA has requested the Census Bureau to
include in its SIPP interviews Social Security disabled insurance
beneficiaries and SSI recipients. SSA will use these data to
conduct statistical research of recipients of SSA-administered
programs. The SIPP for SSA Beneficiaries is a household- bassed
survey molded around a central "core" of labor force questions and
supplemented with questions designed to address specific needs,
such as obtaining information about assets and liabilities,
work-related expenses, health care and child support.

the collection of information encompassed by this request complies

1320.8(b)(3).
