Abstract: Respondents are owners or operators of hosiptal/medical/infec- tious waste incinerators (HWIWI). Information required by the NSPS is necessary to ensure that HMIWI emission standards are attained, and the HMIWI are properly operated and maintained. Owners or operators are required to maintain records of the occurrence and duration of any start-up, shutdown, or malfunction at affected facility.
