SSA uses the information collectd on
form SSA-2519 to help determne the entitlement of children to
Social Security benefits under section 216(h)(3) of the Social
Security Act (Deemed Child Provision). The respondents are persons
providing information about the relationship between the worker and
his/her alleged biological child, in connection with the child's
application for benefits.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
