Revisions are being made to
incorporate changes due an Interm Final Rule titled "Limitations on
the Issuance of Commercial Driver's Licenses with a Hazardous
Materials Endorsement." The additional 17,250 burden hours accounts
for the time required by State DMVs to enter into the CDL
Information Sysetem (CDLIS) an indication of whether the applicant
is a U.S. citizen or resident alien (and if a resident alien, the
alien registration number).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
