with NIH, the following terms of clearance continue to apply: (1)
To reduce the burden on repeat callers, add a question to the
telephone survey asking if the person has responded to the survey
before. If so, provide an opportunity to opt out of repeating the
survey. (2) The percentage of callers sampled will be lowered to
25% (3) NCCAM will track the number of callers to the telephone
information service and the survey response rate and will report
this information upon resubmission of this survey for extension of
OMB approval.

NCCAM provides the public, patients,
families, health care providers, complementary and alternative
medicine (CAM) practitioners, and others with the latest
scientifically based information on CAM and information about
NCCAM's programs through a variety of channels including its
toll-free telephone information service and its quarterly
newsletter. NCCAM wishes to measure customer satisfaction with
NCCAM telephone interactions and the NCCAM newsletter and to assess
which audiences are being reached through these channels. This
