Terms of Clearance: Approved for 3 years. VA has developed a new policy to allow the use of third-party salary surveys and plans to implement this new policy in the next few months. The third-party data, in areas where it is available, may be more accurate and cost effective. We encourage their use where feasible. Upon resubmission of this package, VA shall report to OMB on the implementation of this policy, the extent to which VA facilities are using third-party data, and what third-party salary surveys are being used.
