The Cancer Information Service (CIS)
serves as a national resource for information and education about
cancer. Evaluation of CIS programs is essential to assess the
extent to which program areas have been impleted as intended and
the shorter term and longer term effects of the programs on the
public and CIS partners. Three data collection efforts will be
conducted: (1) a survey of a sample of CIS Information Service
users; (2) a survey of a sample of CIS Networking, Education
Program, Program Development, and Research partners; and (3) a
survey of audiences served by selected partners. The..
