The Program Instruction for the
Children's Justice Act grants, authorized by Title I of the Child
Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA), provides direction to
States and Territories to accomplish the purpose of assisting
States in developing, establishing, and operating programs designed
to improve: 1) the handing of child abuse and neglect cases,
particularly child sexual abuse and exploitation, in a manner which
limits additional trauma to the child victim; 2) the handing of
cases of suspected child abuse or neglect related facilities; and
3) the inevestigation and prosecution of cases..
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
