The Commission revises this approved
submission to clarify that a public safety answering point (PSAP)
requests E911 service from a wireless carrier, and a wireless
carrier challenges the PSAP's ability receive and use E911 data,
the carrrier must provide E911 service within si months of the date
service is requested if the PSAP can demonstrate its capability
either by the three tiered showing detailed in the Order or by
demonstrating that a funding mechanism is in place and that the
PSAP is Phase I capable using a Non-call Associated Signaling
technology.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
