Abstract: Medicated feeds are fed to food producing animals for disease prevention and treatment, and for increased/improved performance. Compliance with good manufacturing practice regulations provides assurance that these feeds will be safe and effective when used as directed and will not cause unsafe residues in edible products of treated animals.
