pursuant to the following terms of clearance: 1) This "quiz show"
does not use a statistically valid sample, and should not be used
to generalize to the population at large, or the population using
the SSA website. Furthermore, no comparisons should be made to
other samples (such as the Gallup poll results). 2) The results of
this data collection should not be used to make policy decisions,
but should only be used for maintenance of the website. 3) The data
from this data collection should not be released outside of SSA,
for any reason. 4) As per the conversation, no demographic data
should be collected from the "quiz show" participants.

The purpose of Quiz Show is to help
support the agency's goal of increasing the public's understanding
of Social Security programs. Quiz Show will consiste of 10
questions, which are based on 8 key messages about SSA programs
that the agency wants to make sure the public understands. Data
collected through each Quiz Show question will help gauge the
public's knowledge of each key Social Security message. Respondents
to Quiz Show will be individuals who visit SSA's website, Social
Scurity Online and elect to play the online game.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
