One commenter
noted that EPA has not yet issued guidance on reporting of dioxin
and expressed concern that the lack of such guidance could prove a
burden to respondents. OMB understands that EPA is working on this
guidance and plans to involve stakeholders in finalizing it. EPA
intends to have this guidance completed well in advance of the June
2001 reporting deadline for the first year of dioxin information.
EPA should keep OMB informed of its progress in completing this
guidance.

This is an addendum to the existing

and Community Right-to- Know Act (EPCRA) section 313 and section
6607 of the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990. Reporters submit
information concerning toxic chemical releases into the air, land,
and water. This addendum is related to the final TRI-PBT
rulemaking, which lowers the reporting threshold for PBTs.
