Reinstatement with change of a previously approved collection
The survey of local registrars and
election officals is necessary to assess the impact of armed forces
recruiting office implementation of voter regstration under the
National Voter Registration Act of 1993 (Pub. L. 103-31) and
section 1973gg-5 of title 42, United States Code. The post-election
survey of local election officials and overseas citizens (not
affiliated with the Federal Government) is required in order to
report (at the end of each year after a Presidential election year)
to the President and the Congress on the effectiveness of
assistance under 42 U.S.C. 1973ff, including a
statistical....
