Terms of Clearance: Approved consistent with the 9/12/97 terms of clearance for NSLDS (OMB#1840-0689) and the 10/28/97 terms of clearance for the form 1189 (OMB# 1840-0582). To clarify: ED shall consult with respondents on the potential overlap between NSLDS and forms 1130, 799, 1189, and 704. All revisions to eliminate duplication will be made as soon as possible but no later than the end of FY 1998; In addition, and consistent with the above term, ED will complete its efforts to combine forms 1189, 1130, and 704 as soon as possible but not later than the end of FY 1998. Accordingly, this approval expires in September 1998.
