This collection
is approved per ACF's memoranda of 4/9/97, 4/10/97, and 4/14/97 and
on the following condition. ACF agrees to redraw the sample to
include all Head Start programs rather than limiting the sample to
those programs that have been in operation for at least 10
years.

In accord with section 120 of the Head
Start Act, a study is being conducted regarding the benefits
available to individuals employed by Head Start agencies under the
Head Start Act (42 U.S.C. 9831 et seq.). The study will describe
the benefits, including health care benefits, family and medical
leave, and retirement pension benefits.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
