Abstract: This study is designed to introduce or expand family and genetic studies of cardiovascular disease and related conditions in ongoing population-based epidemiological studies. The primary goal is to identify and evaluate genetic and non-genetic determinants of coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, and their risk factors.
