Abstract: THE PROPOSED DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM IS DESIGNED TO COLLECT UNIFORM, RELIABLE INFORMATION ON ALL CHILDREN WHO ARE IN FOSTER CARE OR WHO ARE ADOPTED UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE STATE TITLE IV-B/IV-E AGENCY. THE COLLECION OF ADOPTION AND FOSTER CARE DATA IS MANDATED BY SECTION 479 THE ACT.
