Abstract: THE DETAILED CASE DATA COMPONENT OF THE NATIONAL CHILD ABUSE AND NEGLECT DATA SYSTEM WILL PROVIDE CRITICAL CASE LEVEL INFORMATION AT A NATIONAL LEVEL ON FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS CONCERNING CHILD MALTREATMENT IN THE UNITED STATES.
