FY 1993 grants cycle. The Administration's Budget proposal does not
support continuation of this program beyond FY 1993. If the program
receives an appropriation for FY 1994, ED shall reasses whether
program-specific selection criteria would be appropriate, and
whether the application package should provide more information
about the program and what is expected of applicants/grantees
(based in part on experiences of the program's initial year). --
Also, while the HEA Amendments gave this program a Section number o
1181, it is in Title X of the Act. To avoid confusion, replace
"Secti 1181(c)" with "part D of Title X" in the Dear Applicant
letter.
