INFORMATION IS EVALUATED BY THE DEPARTMENT STAFF AND NON-FEDERAL EXPER TO DETERMINE SUCCESSFUL APPLICATIONS UNDER A COMPETITIVE FELLOWSHIP PROCESS USING SELECTION CRITERIA DETERMINED BY THE JAVITS POLICY-MAKIN BOARD.
