RECORDKEEPING RULE FOR
NATIONAL SECURITIES EXCHANGES, NATIONAL SECURITIES ASSOCIATIONS,
REGISTERED CLEARING AGENCIES, & THE MUNICIPAL SECURITIES
RULEMAKING BOARD
RULE 17-A-1, ADOPTED ON MAY 17, 1974,
REQUIRES THAT EVERY NATIONAL SECURITIES EXCHANGE AND NATIONAL
SECURITIES ASSOCIATION KEEP ON FILE FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS, TWO
YEARS IN AN ACCESSIBLE PLACE, ALL DOCUMENTS WHICH IT MAKES OR
RECEIVES RESPECTING ITS SELF-REGULATORY ACTIVITIES AND THAT SUCH
DOCUMENTS BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR EXAMINATION BY THE
COMMISSION.
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
