Abstract: THE PURPOSE OF THE SMALL BUSINESS INNOVATION RESEARCH (SBIR) PHASE I A II APPLICATIONS IS TO PROVIDE A VEHICLE BY WHICH SMALL BUSINESSES CAN APPLY FOR AVAILABLE RESEARCH FUNDS. THE INFORMATION IS USED BY PHS TO DETERMINE THOSE APPLICANTS SCIENTIFICALLY AND ADMINISTRATIVELY QUALIFI TO RECEIVE PUBLIC FUNDS AND THOSE PROJECTS RELEVANT TO PHS PROGRAMS.
