OMB approves
this information collection for two years, in light the upcoming
reauthorization of the Higher Education Act, which will allow for
the second year of continuation grants that were originally awarded
during FY 1991 under the old HEA. In addition, ED should provide
the public with the current text o the regulations governing this
program, as listed in 34 CFR 630, rathe than the current
presentation of separate entries from the "Federal Register." This
will reduce respondent burd by allowing grant applicants to
reference one complete document, rather than piecing together two
FR entries.
