This ICR is
approved for three years or until replaced by the ICR and 6(g)
policy currently under development. During development of the
information collection requirements of the 6(g) policy, EPA shall
(1) evaluate providing the pesticide stocks information themselves
to States and localities and (2) develop retailer exemption
criteria which consider the substantial burden (150,000 hours or
96% of the ICR's total burden) and usefulness of the data (not just
the type of FIFRA section 6 action and the location of the
product). In the meantime, EPA shall notify OMB each time
information on stored pesticides is collected from retailers.
