Abstract: AN INFORMATION DATA BASE FOR PESTICIDE USE AND CROPPING PRACTICES NEED TO BE DEVELOPED SO PROGRAMS AND FARMER MANAGEMENT PRACTICES CAN BE ADDRESSED. WATER QUALITY AND FOOD SAFETY ARE ISSUES EVERYONE IS CONCERNED ABOUT AND DATA IS NEEDED. THE PUBLIC HAS EXPRESSED THROUGH CONGRESS A DESIRE TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.
