Abstract: 46 CFR 510 SPECIFIES METHODS AND PROCEDURES FOR PERSONS WISHING TO ACT AS OCEAN FREIGHT FORWARDERS. THE REGULATIONS AND RELATED APPLICATION FORM FMC-18 IS USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER A PERSON POSSESSES THE NECESSARY EXPERIENCE AND CHARACTER TO ACT AS AN OCEAN FREIGHT FORWARDE IN THE U.S. EXPORT TRADES.
