THE QUARTERLY COUNTRY EXPOSURE REPORT
COLLECTS INFORMATION ON INTERNATIONAL CLAIMS OF U.S. BANKS AND BANK
HOLDING COMPANIES THAT IS USED FOR SUPERVISORY AND ANALYTICAL
PURPOSES, TO MONITOR COUNTRY EXPOSURE OF BANKS TO DETERMINE DEGREE
OF RISK IN THEIR PORTFOLIOS. THE COUNTRY EXPOSURE INFORMATION
REPORT PROVIDES PUBLIC INFORMATION
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
